Editorial independence
The wall we keep between editorial and commercial: no paid placement, a fixed scoring method, and how we handle corrections.
Last updated July 2026Our reviews are only worth something if you can trust that they are independent. This policy sets out the wall we keep between our editorial work and our commercial relationships.
Editorial and commercial are separate
The team that scores and reviews casinos does so against a fixed, published method (how we test and how we rank). Commercial agreements and advertising play no part in that process, and we use no affiliate links. No operator sees or signs off a review before publication.
No paid placement
A casino cannot pay for a listing, a higher score, a better ranking position, or the removal of a criticism. Every operator earns its place on merit and a valid AGCO / iGaming Ontario licence — nothing else is for sale.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim to be specific and current: scores and key facts are verified against live operator data and the regulator's register, with a visible "last updated" date. If we get something wrong, we correct it and update the date. Spotted an error? Tell us and we will review it.
Responsible by default
We do not advertise bonuses or use urgency or "risk-free" language, in line with Canada's advertising standards. Responsible-gambling information appears on every page, not as an afterthought — see responsible gambling.
